Event Summary:

This engaging and informative panel discussion will spotlight Alberta’s pioneering tangible progress in mitigating carbon emissions through cutting-edge industrial CCS technologies and how collaboration amongst government, academia, industry, and indigenous-led organizations is helping Canada reach its net zero goals and supporting developing countries.

Led by Canadian and international industry experts and visionaries, this 60-minute panel discussion will explore Alberta’s bold sustainable solutions, carbon pricing, policy implications, and the global potential of scaling CCS initiatives with real-world learnings from the three industrial-scale carbon capture projects along with a major trunk pipeline line for permanent sequestration in Alberta and over 11 CCS feasibility studies for industrial-scale projects underway in the province – in part funded by ERA.

This panel discussion features leaders in Canada’s innovative cleantech and energy sectors and leverages international leaders to showcase Alberta and Canada’s commitment to the implementation of CCS.
