AERIUM Analytics uses proprietary machine learning algorithms and automated detection tools to monitor bird species at liquid impoundment facilities (LIFs) in surface mining operations. Wildlife management, especially bird deterrence, is challenging due to migration patterns and habitat complexities. AERIUM, a Canadian RPAS provider, developed the RoBird® Drone Technology to prevent birds from nesting in high-risk areas and relocate them safely. By enhancing RoBird® with real-time detection and reporting, AERIUM aims to create a more effective, autonomous wildlife protection solution, delivering detailed data to operators for improved wildlife management in the oil, gas, and mining industries.
