Event Summary:
Cvictus will launch commercial operations using its patented Enhanced Hydrogen Recovery (EHR) technology to produce low-cost, low-carbon hydrogen from stranded hydrocarbons in Alberta. Supported by CRIN, the project aims to generate 7 t/d of clean hydrogen at a lower cost and carbon intensity than conventional and green hydrogen. EHR extracts hydrogen-rich syngas from ultra-deep coal and brine while re-injecting CO2 for permanent storage. This hydrogen can be used for heat, power, and transportation or converted into ammonia and methanol. Cvictus aims to be the most positively impactful company globally by integrating clean energy and biotechnology.
