Event Summary:
SensorUp is a NATO-award-winning data fabric cloud platform that interconnects real-time sensor data and AI-predictions, enahcing productivity, safety, quality and job satisfaction for future workers.
This project will build an integrated methane sensor web to reduce detection and repair times for methane emissions. The technology aims to improve the environmental impacts and performance of the oil and gas industry’s methane emissions management.
This project will be carried out at 400 sites distributed among producer partners primarily in Alberta. These partners will be valuable collaborators and will assist in creating an ecosystem of industrial AI and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
Presenter(s):
Steve Liang
Dr. Liang, Founder & CTO of SensorUp, Rogers Internet of Things Research Chair Professor, University of Calgary. SensorUp aims to unify global sensing systems for humanity's benefit. SensorUp collaborates with the US Department of Homeland Security, rail companies and construction companies; SensorUp's focuses on reducing methane emissions to combat climate change.
